CULTURAL ORIENTATION PROGRAMME ON TOP OF TABLE MOUNTAIN!

20140412_112441On Saturday, 12 April participants from the Cultural Orientation Programme had the incredible opportunity to experience Cape Town’s own “Natural Wonder” of the world! 17 of us, including Brigitte’s young twins, enjoyed the exciting cable car ride up the mountain and the beautiful views of the city on the top whilst getting to know each other better. Near the end of the outing, we sat on some rocks and learned words of the different languages spoken in the group including Somali, French, Portugese and Afrikaans. Cold drinks helped us to brave the scorching heat. A huge thank you to Lisa at Table Mountain for the complimentary tickets, Jean for providing transport to and from the cableway in her sister’s bakkie and Anthony for his generous contribution towards our refreshments.
