The English School Cultural Orientation group, which pairs Scalabrini students with hosts who live in the area, recently went on an outing on the city sightseeing bus, thanks to a very generous donation. The hosts and students braved the cold weather (some even sitting upstairs on the bus!) and toured the city, using headphones to listen to historical commentary about the city of Cape Town (in English of course!). A great time was had by all. Don’t forget if you are interested in participating in this cultural exchange opportunity and can commit to meeting a student once every two weeks for an activity such as this, please email Kirsty at kirsty@scalabrini.org.za.
