Counselors launch Therapeutic Art Project

Ologo_counselingur counselors Michelle Stuckie and Sanet Liebenberg now offer therapeutic art activities to our Soup Kitchen clients an Tuesdays and Thursdays. As a pilot project the clients will learn how to create a paper Mache mask that will represent the face they show to the outer world opposed to who they are on the inside.

Our volunteers Silvia and Marta from Italy are assisting in the project.

The HIV Support Group now takes place on Saturdays and participants get a chance to learn and do bead work during the sessions. Working while discussing pressing issues has a therapeutical effect on the one hand and on the other also provides a small income. The group presently has 8 regular attendants.
